Arranging a Self Portrait

Remarkably, this photo says almost everything about me through:

Art that I've collected from Peru, Italy and Spain (some behind Rudi) My favorite Renaissance painting by Raphael, The School of Athens (which could almost be a self-portrait in itself)

My boy Rudi

My first boy, King

The soundtrack to Rad, the movie I grew up watching with my friends that I raced BMX with My bike that I keep around to remain fixated on my BMX years

My degree from Virginia Tech My honor graduate award from the Marines

An award from a Flash Animation Festival

A laser cut record done for the U.S. dubstep godfather Joe Nice (behind Rudi's head)

My hiking pack FUCK Painting laser cut into an old palate

The helmet I used when I had my freeride bike

A framed star trailing photo from Peru that is also in my photography section of my portfolio

A painting of "art" in Helvetica

And a remaining piece I did as a student with the bullets and flowers I kept out any order to reinforce first of all my belief that social/political/ecclesiological/governmental/militaristic hierarchy is an illusion (though design hierarchy is something I love) and also to allow my wall to reflect the homogeneity of all of the influencing factors in my life.

Now I just have to deal with the rest of my walls being empty :)

I know I mentioned this at some point Glenn, but to reiterate, I LOVE The School of Athens.  Nice choice.
